Poco amante, como siempre he sido, de todo lo que tenga que ver con política, me sorprendí gratamente con esta película, que tiene un contenido bastante crítico con la manera como funciona el mundo actual y que muestra a lo que esto podría llevarnos... o nos llevará.
Pensé que entraba al teatro a ver algo parecido a un comic, pero salí como con una rasquiña interna, bastante agradable, mezcla de alergia emocional y urticaria intelectual... "Apología del terrorismo", dicen unos... y sí, seguramente tienen razón, pero yo me quedo con la faceta de crítica política de la cinta, con la lucha de un ser humano que busca mejorar el mundo, aunque suene a discurso barato.Y aunque en el fondo su motivación sea la venganza, son claros los ideales que persigue con sus acciones... "We are told to remember the idea, not the man, because a man can fail. He can be caught, he can be killed and forgotten, but 400 years later, an idea can still change the world. I've witnessed first hand the power of ideas, I've seen people kill in the name of them, and die defending them... but you cannot kiss an idea, cannot touch it, or hold it... ideas do not bleed, they do not feel pain, they do not love...", dice Evey Hammond, la protagonista, al comenzar la película. Obvio, la trama también tiene su dosis de historia de amor.
Aunque al principio se cuenta superficialmente de dónde sale el personaje de V, vale la pena tener un poco de contexto histórico con respecto a Guy Fawkes, un revolucionario que en 1605 fue sorprendido cuando intentaba realizar un atentado contra la sede del Parlamento Británico.
